New girl - 6
by annie09

Cassy was the first one to come to my house, I was surprise to see how organize she was. She had everything plan out, what we were going to wear, how our hair will be, if we will put nail polish on our nails or not, everything!

'I can't believe that we are going to Elvis party!! only cool people get invited!' She said excited.

I look at her like she was joking, we never had these things in my old school. If there was a party in school than everyone was invited and people who were not invited would come anyways.

'Do you know where Kristy and Kelly is?' I ask her, wondering why they were so late.

'They will be here...' She said as the door bell ring and I open the door and see them standing in front of me. I give them a smile and invite them in.

When we were ready, we go outside and knock on Elvis door since his house was only two house away, it wasn't a problem to find it.

Before going in the house, Cassy and Kelly hold me back as Kristy and George go in 'Did you talk to her?' Cassy asks looking at me concern.

'Yeah...' I said wondering what I should say to them, since Kristy told me not to tell them anything.

'So...? what did she say?' Kelly ask staring at me.

'Um...nothing, she said that she will talk to you guys' I said trying to convince them. I didn't wanted to lie to them but I couldn't tell them the truth either.

'Just tell us? We are really worried about her...' Kelly said.

'Um...she didn't tell me anything, she will talk to you guys' I said quickly, I had to say this or else Kristy would have gotten angry and I did not want that.

'Okay...' they both said giving me a smile and going in Elvis house.

I looked around the house, it was filled with people...some drinking, some making out and some just talking. This was a party for sure with loud music and lots of dancing.

I didn't know where to go, I look for the girls but they were no where in sight. While I was looking I get a tap on my shoulder, I turn around and see Elvis standing with beer in his hand.

I give him a smile and before I could say anything he kisses me on the cheek and hug me tight as if I was his long lost friend.

'Um...hi?' I said confuse, maybe he was drunk but he didn't seem like it.

'I can't believe you came!' He said and kiss my other cheek. I couldn't move, I was surprise about what he was doing, his lips felt soft againt my cheeks but it was a quick kiss.

'Um yeah, I don't think Sally will be calling the police on you guys...' I said though I wasn't sure about this. I can never be sure what she is upto maybe she will call the police on her own grand daughter.

'Good, enjoy...' He said, as he takes my hand and start dancing. Let me tell you, I am not a good dancer.  I cannot dance at all so after a while I left and went to stand in the corner.

'You don't like dancing?' George said from behind. I was glad to see a familiar face, I mean common these people were too drunk to even know their own name.

'Nah, I hate it...I'm really bad at it' I said in a shy way.

George lets out a laugh and say 'well let me teach you...' and with that he take my hand and start showing me steps. I actually started to get the hang of this, I was finally dancing good.

'We want to have a couple dance! Put the slow music on!' Someone yell from far, I couldn't see the person but the instant that was said the music changed to slow and everyone grab their partner and started dancing.

George was still holding my hand 'Why not I teach you this one too' He said as he put my hand on his shoulder and slowly start moving. While dancing I wasn't looking at George, my eyes was actually set on Elvis. I don't know why but he reminded me of someone but I didn't know who.

When the music ended everyone went back to their places and the wild music started again.

'So you like Elvis?' George ask looking at me.

'No...why' I said wondering why he would ask such a thing.

'I notice you were looking at him when we were dancing...' he said giving me a smile.

'Oh...he just looks like someone but I don't know who' I said looking at Elvis.

'Not possible, he doesn't have any brother or sister and plus he have never been out of this town' George said as he wave his hand to Kelly and Cassy and they both make their way toward us.
