"Who's out there?" Selena asked
A face appeared from the darkness
"Geez,sis,I can't believe you don't recognize me" Nick said
Nick,Rosalind,Elijah and Raphael were hanging by the tree near our dorm window.
"What are you guys doing here?" Selena asked
"Just came to see if your up to a little midnight run" Raphael replied
"I'm always up for that" Selena said
"So whadda you say couz?" Nick asked
"Sure" I said
"We'll meet you down in a sec" Selena said
They jumped down while me and Selena grabbed our jackets.I was tying the laces on my Black Nike Shoes when Selena stepped out wearing a pink tank top with a pink hello kitty jacket and blue pedals with her hello kitty sneakers.What can I say she's been addicted to Hello Kitty since I met her.
"What do you think?" she asked
"Flirty" I said
"Good" she replied
"Who is he?" I asked
"What do you mean?" she asked
"The one your trying to look cute for" I said
"No one" she hesitated
"Let me guess,Rapha-" I was half-way when she covered my mouth
"SHHH!" she said
"Don't worry" I mumbled
"What?" she asked and removed her hand
"I said don't worry" I repeated
I jumped down leaving Selena
"Not fair" she said before she jumped.She landed beside me
"Let's go" Nick said and started running
All the others had a hard time catching up but they did.Nick stopped running and so did the others.I looked at Elijah and noticed that he hasnt spoken a word.Maybe I really did hurt him.Maybe I should apologize.It didnt take me long to figure out what he was doing.
"Stop It" I said.He was using one of his abilities on me.He was making me think what he wanted me to think.
APOLOGIZE TO ELIJAH! my thoughts shouted
"STOP!" I shouted.I sprang towards him and strangled him against a tree.
"There they go again" Nick said
"Stop It" I threatened
He stopped and then I let him go.We started to run again and a few miles east of the school,we found an old,abandoned shack.
Well it wasnt abandoned,there were vampires inside....Wait!
Vampires?I breathed in and it was Vampiric scent alright and it was an elder's.
"Do you guys smell that?" Raphael asked
"Yeah Vampiric Scent" Selena said
"Definitely Elders" I added
We got nearer until we could hear them loud and clear with our keen hearing senses
"They must not know of this" A deep,husky voice said
"But they must.What if she attacks them and we are nowhere to be found?What will they do then?"a high female voice said
"Worry not,Zafrina,I can assure you that my students are not as vulnerable as you think they are" A familiar voice said.Headmaster Solomon?
"Solomon,she has become stronger and she isnt alone.She has the Maenads and Satyrs with her" the female voice said
"Maenads and Satyrs are no match for us" a voice I'd always know said.My Great Grandmother....
